Tak was born in Tokyo and trained at some of Canada's most respected advertising agencies — Ogilvy, MacLaren McCann, TAXI — working across major accounts including Microsoft, RBC, American Express, and General Motors. But the thread running through all of it was never advertising. It was connection.

Living in Rome, he switched naturally between Italian, French, German, and English depending on who was homesick that day. In Germany and Brazil, the same instinct emerged. People opened up not because he was fluent, but because he was genuinely paying attention.
